Hotels in Cyprus can have up to 5 stars, however 1 or 2 star
hotels in Cyprus are very rare. The rates of officially registered
hotels are approved by the Cyprus Tourism Organisation. Most
hotels in Cyprus offer special rates during low season which
is the period between half of November until the 15th of March,
except the 2 weeks around Christmas, New Year and Epiphany
(6th of January).
As in almost all tourist related businesses in Cyprus, English
is spoken in all hotels. German and French are also quite
commonly spoken in the hotels.
Making hotel reservations in advance is highly recommended.
